How to make Peanut Butter Play Dough.
One of the easiest way to entertain my kids is by making a big batch of play dough. It’s so easy to whip up and will entertain my kids for hours. Every once in a while I try to mix it up from the basic play dough and make this Peanut Butter Play Dough recipe. My kids love it and ask for it all the time.
I was introduced to this Peanut Butter Play Dough Recipe years ago in a college Child Development class. I immediately fell in love with it and the concept of using this recipe as a sensory activity for kids. They can touch, see, smell, and even taste it! This is a perfect activity to help kids learn about their 5 senses.
My kids seriously ask me to make this recipe all the time. I’m pretty sure it’s because they are allowed to eat it….but oh well! I love having them help me mix up this easy three ingredients recipe and then spend hours creating and playing.

One of the best parts of this recipe is that it only takes three ingredients, and I always have them at home. Seriously, all you have to do is dump the powdered sugar, peanut butter and honey into a bowl and stir. You’ll have homemade play dough ready in less than 10 minutes!
Peanut Butter Play Dough Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in bowl. Stir well and knead until smooth. That's it! Seriously!
Notes
Now get out some cookie cutters, knives and a rolling pin and let your kids create!
