The first thing you need to do when making this garden inspired mason jar gift is to stop by the Dollar Tree, AKA: my favorite store ever! I love shopping at the Dollar Tree because there are so many fun finds there!
If you are shopping for gardening items I suggest going in early March. Dollar Tree will usually put out their spring items in March, making it the best time to shop for gardening items. I went in early April and could still find a few fun items to buy, but the selection was sparse.
First, I stopped by the garden and summer section. I was able to find some flower seeds, garden gloves and a fairy garden decoration. It was so fun to find such a great selection of flower seeds.
Next up was a stop at the candy aisle. Because, candy is always the perfect addition to every gift….amiright or amiright?!?! I was hoping to find some spring candy to add to my mason jar gift and I was happy to find the perfect item! I grabbed the Spring Lifesavers, they are the perfect colors!
The total amount spent at Dollar Tree was just $4! And, since I already had a mason jar at home this gift was very budget friendly

Putting Together This Mason Jar Gift Idea For Gardeners
Now that you have bought the supplies it’s time to put it all together. Don’t worry, this part is so easy!
First, place the fairy garden decoration in the bottom of the mason jar.
Now, roll up the garden gloves and stick them behind the garden fairy.
Place the garden seeds behind the gloves. I placed a few around the back so that they can be seen easily. Mix it up and put them in however works best for you and your jar.
You’re almost done!
Last, just toss in a few pieces of candy. And that’s it! Your mason jar gift for gardeners is done!
